They will debit your account forever.

It does not matter how many times you tell them you don`t want the policy do not debit your account they will still do it. You can email cancellation requests, you can tell consultants on the phone that you never wanted the policy and they should go back to your original call and listen to it but they will debit your account until you die. I advise anyone that receives a \free gift\" from them to send it straight back as this actually gives them free rein to harass you with phone calls until they get your banking details and start debiting you for a policy you did not even want. I dream of a world where telemarketing is *******. "

Hello micheleairey,

Thank you for the opportunity to speak to you and to resolve your query.

As we discussed telephonically, your policy has been cancelled and we have refunded your last premium. It was an unfortunate event that, by the time your cancellation was received on the 29th of February, the premium requests for the following day were already at your bank. In that situation, regrettably, there is nothing we can do to stop the premium.

I have added you to our database for persons who would no longer like to be contacted. I do apologise if you feel you were in any way harassed, as anything offered from Platinum Life is completely optional.

I hope that you feel your complaint has been sufficiently resolved. For any further queries, please feel free to e-mail me directly at *** .

Kind Regards
Danielle Smith
