Theft

I have been contacted by Platinum Life mercilessly over the years after a friend referred me. Every time I rejected the service as it sounded very suspicious as according to the consultants, you are in no way able to apply for any service at Platinum Life unless you are either referred or phoned.

Last year I was phoned again and I actually listened, biggest mistake of my life. The consultant read the policy over the phone and I acquiesced every word just to get to the end to say no, this was my logic: "Maybe if I hear them out once, and say no, then they will stop harassing me".

It ended with the consultant saying that I will receive a package with the policy that I must sign. I figured this isn't too bad as I will be able to read through the policy myself and make an informed decision.

At this point I want to make clear that I have not signed the policy. I have not made communication attempts from my side to follow up on the policy. The month went by and I receive a sms that a debit order went through on my bank account and this was a debit order for Platinum Life's cover.

Please cancel this policy and debit order immediately. I do not want it. I did not sign for it.

The reference number that was given to me is gdnm ********** 7821
