Dont you think it is illegel to take mobey from someone who didnt agree to take your policy? Why are you *****ing from me, i stoped my debit order at the bank but you keep on taking my money, isnt that a little bit illegel? Unless @platinum life dont now what is legel and what is illegel in south africa. I never agreed on one of your policy's, you said that i have a month yo choose if i want a policy so i didnt call back because i dont want n policy so how did it happen that you take my money? Is that illegel or not platinum life? Can you really take money from someone even if they did not agree on one of your (Policy's)

I have received your complaint and would like to provide some feedback regarding this matter
Kindly note that you were contacted in September 2019 and offered a policy with Platinum Life. In the call, the consultant does do a full closure and advises that a contract will be sent out, as you did agree to take the cover. After you have had 30 days to review the terms and conditions, the policy is set to start on the date as discussed. As all our business is done telephonically, an active contract is sent out and this is why certain disclosures are done by the sales team. Kindly note that Platinum Life is a registered FSP and all our conduct is in line with current FSCA legislation.
As per our conversation this morning, please note that you agreed to continue with the policy, as per the discussion in January 2020 and January 2021. Due to no cancellation being received, your monthly premium was still submitted to the bank on the debit order date. These calls have been resent via email this morning for reference.
Please note that your policy has been cancelled as requested and no further premiums will be deducted from your account.
