Platinum Life ****

I received a call regarding a gift i got nominated by a friend of mine. The lady I spoke to asked me various questions, regarding my place of work, type of employment, address, where i bank, how much I earn including my id number. I found this extremely odd and I want to request Platinum Life to remove all my personal details from their records. i want to state here that I did not agree to any policy/offers. All these questions i was asked, makes me think that this is a ****.

Please remove my details ASAP. I do not give consent to platinum life to keep my details for record purposes, I want them removed, provide me with confirmation that it has been removed. I do not understand what my details have to do with me receiving a gift, the address I understand yes, but my id number?? why do you need that? why do you need to know where I bank and what type of account I use?? Remove my details immediately.
