In Oct (I think) of last year (2018) Platinum life had phones me, trying to sell a policy for cancer. Cancer being a serious desease and quite life thretening I listened to all the blaber about how cheap they are with the policy per month etc etc etc. Then the guy asked If I would like to join. I distinctly told him that I had to think about it and that I would have to talk to my husband (me being a homemaker). He then said that that I am not obligated, but that he would send me the package with all the paper work and a Isabella Garcia gift (Them being partners in this insurance). I would then have to sign the paper work and send it back BEFORE they would deduct any monies. I then thanked him and made sure that they would not be able to deduct ANYTHING from my account until I have sighned and AGREED to the terms and conditions of the policy. He assured me that it would be exacly that.....

Well the month right after that telephone call, Platinum life deducted their first payment.....after numerous calls and arguments they are still doing it!!! My acc is in a -R2500....PLUS !!!!!!!!! And if that is not enough the premium has DOUBLED!!!!

I DO NOT KNOW WHERE OR HOW BUT THESE PEOPLE SHOULD PAY BACK EVERY CENT ! Thet are ****** and should be ashamed of how they lie just to make a buc****!!!

Dear Nicki-Ann Thank you so much for taking my call. Firstly, please accept my apologies for the manner in which the call was handled. There are certain disclosures that need to be made regarding the 30 day review period, active contracts and when the policy will deduct and if not done, could create misunderstandings. The call has been escalated to our sales department and they will address the situation with the consultant directly. Kindly note that the policy has been cancelled and no further premiums will be deducted. We will make the necessary arrangements regarding any bank costs that have been incurred due to this.
