Platinum Life promotional gift - empty promise

On 2 September 2021 I received an SMS notifying me a friend had nominated me to receive a promotional gift and to expect a quick call from Platinum Life. I duly received the call the next day. Like many others I had to disclose a LOT of personal information but was reassured by the caller that everything was legit, would not be shared etc etc. And furthermore, no matter what I did or did not want to accept from them, I would be receiving a “promotional gift of my choice”. I was told to expect another message (have never received it) which would give me a link to select the gift of my choice which would be delivered to me within 4-6 weeks. I had a similar experience a few years ago with Platinum Life – was also referred by a friend and received a call etc. - to this day I have never received the follow up message, nor the promised gift. Funny thing is my friend says she received hers so somewhere, somehow it must be for real. So, Platinum Life, where is mine? The “quick” call was not that quick and I gave you far too much information. Would be good to get something considering I was repeatedly promised despite my skepticism caused by my first negative experience.
