platinum life promo gift **** or REAL?
I received an SMS and then a phone call from Platinum life. asking about my ID number and what bank account I have. I've mailed platinum life too, but I want to know is this a **** or is it an actual promo?

Kindly note that Platinum Life works on a referral basis and we give our policyholders the chance to nominate friends and family members for a promotional gift. This is a way to provide more information about who we are and what we do.
As part of the gift, we also send out a guide on efficient banking and how to save using the account you currently have. Our team will ask questions to ensure that the most relevant information is sent out to you.
Please note that we are a registered FSP and all our conduct is in line with FSCA and POPIA legislation.
Kindly advise if there is anything else I can advise on or if more information is needed regarding our referral process.
