Platinum Life Harrassment
Hello There
I have been receiving calls and texts from Platinum life for several months now. The texts read as such:
"Hello Nokuzola, K*** Z*** chose you to receive a promotional gift from us. Please expect a quick call. Regards, Platinum Life"
I immediately knew that they are trying to sign me up for a policy. When they called me, they asked me if I knew K*** Z***, I did not answer that question I simply said I am not interested in what ever they are offering and that I don't want them to call me again.
However the calls kept on coming, I have blocked multiple of their telephone numbers but they keep on using different numbers. I have gotten a calls from a Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth during the year 2019.
Now today, 06 February 2020, I got a call from a Durban telephone number and what I did was just drop the line when I realized that it is them. I am sick an tired of these people from Platinum Life, I have never signed up for any of their products nor will I ever after experiencing this kind of harassment from them.

I hardly sign-up for any contracts and when I I do, I make it a point to un-tick that box that asks for my permission to distribute my details for marketing and promotional purposes.
PLATINUM LIFE PLEASE LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE. I DON'T EVEN WANT R10 BILLION FROM YOU. YOU ARE ANNOYING AND USING SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES TO GET CLIENTS. I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOU AND DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU.
WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO DO IS TO GET AN AUDIBLE YES FROM ME OVER THE PHONE AND THEN TURN AROUND AND SAY I HAVE AGREED TO SIGN-UP FOR WHATEVER INSURANCE PRODUCT. THIS IS WHY WHEN THEY CALL YOU, THEY ASK YOU IF YOU KNOW A CERTAIN PERSON. TRUST ME, DON'T ANSWER THAT QUESTION FOLKS.
I WILL BE IN CONTACT WITH THE RELEVANT OMBUDSMEN, I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF ALL THE TIMES THEY HAVE CALLED ME AND SCREENSHOTS THAT PROVE THAT I HAVE BLOCKED ALL THE NUMBERS THEY HAVE USED TO CALL ME.
I have received your complaint and would like to address this matter with you.
Kindly note that we offer our policy holders the chance to nominate contacts (friends and family) for a promotional gift. This gift IS NOT a policy and simply serves as a way to provide more information about who we are and what we do. There is also no cost or obligation linked to receiving our promotional gifts.
I have followed up and the system does show that we have tried to contact you on 6 different occasions, but only got your voicemail. In the last call made to you, the consultant started explaining the referral process but the call was cut. Unfortunately, as no request was received in this time advising that you are not interested, you were contacted again. I have arranged for your details to be added to our do not contact list.
Platinum Life is a registered FSP and all our conduct is in line and regulated by FCSA regulation.

And by the way , the calls that you are saying went on voicemail it is because I block each and every number you use to call me but sadly for me You guys keep using different telephone numbers to contact me.
