Platinum Life Debit orders *****

Platinum life contacted me in regards to a life policy. The lady said that if I am interested that I must give them a call but just to make sure she asked me to confirm my details?? I have never given any information to them but she was able to give me all the information about myself and my banking details?? I asked where they got the information and when she was not able to tell me then I said that I am not interested. At the beginning of this month I got a debit order from Platinumlife. How on earth is it possible for Platinumlife to confirm a debit order if I never gave any information to then and never signed any documentation to confirm this?? Surely this must be *****?
