PLATINUM LIFE= DEATH

Platinum Life tells me my policy lapsed after they did not find other ways to contact me. I changed my mobile number in 2013 or so and I called to notify them but they could not email me yet they said they "tried" to reach me. these policy companies have terrible business ethics and just milk people's bank accounts yet their staff are *********** in reaching a customer-they have my physical address so they could've sent letters, they have my email address yet they didn't find the need to drop me an email, they have my old cellphone number and they couldn't even save the data when I called to notify them of the number changes. THIS IS THE ******* WE AS SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS HAVE TO ENCOUNTER WITH MOST INSURANCE POLICIES. DISGUSTING SERVICE. *********** STAFF AND COMPANY OWNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon Miss Zibi,

As per our telephonic discussion, we advised you that we did try and contact you on the cell phone numbers provided numerous times. As per legislation we need to select one form of communication to deal with our clients, and at Platinum Life we deal with clients telephonically, either by contacting them or by sending sms’s.

Unfortunately there were no detail changes made on your policies and whilst we try to keep our clients informed, we do rely on our clients to keep their personal details current and updated.

We have also offered to send you an e-mail advising that your policies with Platinum Life had lapsed.

Yours Sincerely,

Jannicke van Gerve
