PLATINUM LIFE A BUNCH OF ******* - STAY AWAY LADIES If you are a woman and have cancer cover with Platinum Life, please consider investing your hard earned month with insurers that are worth it. I am taking out a Lifestyle Protector plan with another organisation who offer better service and value, including cancer cover and funeral cover. In the cancer policy I have with Platinum Life it DOES NOT state that there are no returns on premiums paid. Simply that I can cancel via email or phone. And so one phones to inquire. Shock and horror, they are not giving me back even 1% of the money I have invested with them. MY MONEY, TOWARDS MY HEALTH. Just like most insurance companies out there, Platinum Life is a **** and have proven that they are just like the rest. They don't care about they women they insure - just the money. I am so happy that I have cancelled and moving on to greater things!

Dear Marceau,

Thank you for taking my call and I am sorry to hear that there was some misunderstanding regarding the terms and conditions of the policy.

Kindly note that all our policies are pure risk and do not accrue any cash or surrender value. There is a money back benefit on the policy, which states that if the policy is in force and claim free at the money back date, you do get back 50% off all premiums that have been paid.

A cancellation has been processed and a consultant will be in touch within the week for the legal closure. All further premiums have been stopped with immediate effect.
