Platinum Life
I was contacted by a Darius van Niekerk from platinum life. He explained a cover and asked me if he could send the policy via email to me for reading purposes as I did not agree to sign up yet. He then said he would send me an sms with a reference number but when I checked the sms it says "we have activated your R20000 cover" I did not agree to anything as I was not going to sign up. He then asked me to confirm my account number but I said how can I confirm my account number when I never gave it to platinum life. He then said it was on a system. I then hung up. He also said that the company will not deduct if I didn't sign up as it would be *******. But why request me to confirm my account number if I did not read the policy yet? I think that this is very shady of platinum life.
