Dear Ferdinand,

Thank you so much for taking my call.

We’d like to confirm and clarify that, under your policy, children are covered until their 18th birthday. Once a child turns 18, they are no longer eligible for cover under the child benefit.

Please note that a single premium is charged for the child benefit, regardless of the number of children covered. This benefit remains active on your policy until your youngest child turns 18, ensuring full cover is maintained for all eligible children up to that point.

As of August 2025, the children's benefit has been removed from your policy, and your premium has been adjusted accordingly to reflect this change. An updated policy schedule will be sent out via email to confirm this.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can assist with

Kind Regards

The money hasn’t been lost. Your children under 18 were fully covered for every month that a premium was received. This means that if a permanent disability due to an accident had occurred during that time, a valid claim would have been paid.
In addition, your policy includes a Money Back Benefit. This means that on your Money Back date (as shown on your policy), if the policy is still active and no claims have been made, you’ll receive 50% of all premiums paid during that period. This also includes the premiums paid for the children’s benefit.
