Harrasment and unprofessional behavior from platinum life.

Platinum life has really gone over the edge this time. I recieved a policy I did not want in any capacity, I phoned and told them to cancel the policy which they said they did and then I recieved a phone call from another sales rep trying to convince me to keep the policy, I said no once again and she kept trying and she would not stop badgering me.

Quite frankly I am tired of the harrasment from the sales reps at platinum life, if I had to try pull sales like that off for where I work, I would be fired. If a person says no they mean no! Also I was told that my friend took out a policy, they **** about that, one of My friends said they heard I took one out... Which was also a lie and on top of all of that they wanted to debit me without my consent. I mean all this company does is lie and harass people until breaking point. I'm about ready to walk into that office today and give them a piece of my mind. I'm so irritated words can not explain, what's more is that I had 16 missed calls from them, in just 1 day! 16!!!!! What is wrong with these people? I told them to put me on their do not call list and they did not do that, so there is no integrity or respect there either. If I receive one more call from platinum life. A personal visit will be made.

I want to be left alone and not be called by you people every day, I have work to do.

Dear Edward,

I have received your complaint and would like to provide some feedback regarding this matter.

Our Client Care team received and processed a cancellation request on the 17th of January 2020. As advised in the call, a consultant will contact you in order to do a legal closure. I apologize if you felt that the consultant was badgering you by giving you further information, as legally you must be fully informed regarding an insurance policy and your options.

According to our call records you were contacted twice and you called in once between the 15th of January and the 7th of February 2020, but as per your request I have added your details onto our do not contact list.

I will also listen to your sales calls and investigate the conduct of the consultant to make sure that they received consent from you and the correct closures were done.

I can confirm that your policy is no longer active, and no premiums will be deducted from your account.

You are more than welcome to contact me if there is anything else, I can assist with regarding this matter

Kind Regards

Reviewer Update
The consultant was not trying to give me further information, the consultant was still trying to sell to me, trying to ask me closing questions and only once I had objected 3 or 4 or maybe even 5 times then it eventually got through to them that this is not what I want. As per tour call records, that probably only shows how many times I answered. Not how many times I was called time and time again. My phone battery literally drained by 5% during that period.

I mean really it's just so tiring. Having to feel perjured and manipulated into a sale is not customer care or service and I know exactly how everything works over there, why only females phone men, why only men phone females and so much more, I would never want anything to do with a company that can not deal with someone honestly. I've seen the script, I have heard it a million times, I could probably recite it and the objection handling techniques. Now if I wasn't being constantly harrased (for years now) by your company, I would know none of that. Forget my recordings. Take a look at the way you train your sales people to conduct a sale.

Anyway, thank you for making sure that I am now on your do not contact list and for making sure nothing is active in my name.

All the best.
