Free Gift - Personal Information breach

My friend shared my contact details for a free gift without my consent and i received non stop calls for a week straight, I kept trying to block the numbers but they keep coming through with new phone numbers.

Eventually I answered the phone to tell them I was not interested but they insisted it would be 2 minutes of my time and then they would not call me again.

The woman on the phone was very kind and professional and while i realize now how stupid i was in providing her with my ID number and the name of my bank, I divulged the information to her in the moment.

I am now feeling extremely uneasy about my details being used for a **** or to hack into my accounts, or being used to sign up to policies that i DID NOT consent for - the agent asked me a few “yes or no” questions which could easily be manipulated in the voice recorded call to sign me up for who knows what.

I would like confirmation that all details will be removed from the system, and that I will not be signed up for any policies what so ever.

I am absolutely terrified of waking up to an empty bank account as a result of this call. I do not want any gifts, or any policies, just confirmation that the call was in fact, not a ****, and that i will be removed from all contact lists.
