Don't Accept Anything From Platinum Life
This company should be investigated! They're a bunch of ********. Don't let them fool you! They got my mom with their shenanigans and I'm fuming. She's paid them R500+ for 5 years and recently asked my help saying she's unable to afford the premium as it keeps rising. So after a struggle with their lack of service to get it cancelled for her, they informed her that she gets none of her money back.
EXPLAIN THIS please. Explain to me how you rob people of their hard earned money and get away with this? Until I get feedback from PL I will keep warning people to stop paying and avoid your company. I've also seen posts on here that people didn't get their money when they were diagnosed with cancer. You guys make me sick!!

Kindly note that our policies are pure-risk and unfortunately do not accrue a cash or surrender value. Our policies do not have an investment option and are not sold as such. You pay monthly for the risk of being diagnosed.
We do have a money back benefit that pays out on the maturity date of the policy if it remains in force and claim free for that period.
I am sorry to hear that your mother struggled to get assistance regarding the cancellation and I would like to investigate the matter, to see what occurred.
We have various options available to reduce the cover and premium, if that would suit your mother better?
