***** company

A few months ago I received a free gift from Platinum Life and as nice as the gift was, I wouldn't have taken it had I known that you they would be calling me every other day to accept the insurance and give them my banking details. 1. I will never give anyone my banking details over the phone, why don't they have an option where you can pay them yourself via for example deposit the money? 2. Why do they have to call with cellphone numbers as though they're trying to trick me into answering? I would really like these people to stop calling me

Dear Nonkululeko,

Thank you for taking my calls.

I have listened to the calls made to you and in the first call, you agree to the policy and provide the consultant with all your personal details. You also confirm that the consultant should phone you back in order for you to give her your banking details.

The consultant tries numerous times to get hold of you without success or only silence can be heard over the phone after the initial greeting. These calls can be sent to you.

At no time did you indicate that you are not interested or that the consultant should stop phoning you.

Our consultants are passionate about the products they offer and due to your interest in the policy the sales consultant did try and reach you again in order to arrange the cover for you, but all our offerings are completely optional and you can at any stage decline the offer.

Please contact me directly on *** or our call centre on ***for any further assistance.

Kind regards,

Tanja Yildirim
