Company selling Cancer
I received a call to receive a promotional gift from a friend from Platinum Life. I got asked questions, id Number, who I bank with, how much I earn, address of where I work. After protesting, the lady proceeded to sell me Cancer insurance. This is offensive. She is saying I am going to get Cancer. I got irate, said this to her, the sales lady said she wasn’t saying I would get Cancer. I got angrier, put the phone down. I am glad it was recorded. I am shocked that a Company is essentially selling you the idea you will get Cancer. *********! It’s a well known marketing datum the more you repeat a message, people will do that, buy this. Coca Cola is the best example of this. Platinum Life is selling you the idea, that you will get Cancer.

I apologize if the consultant came across as selling the idea that you will get cancer. Our consultants have to follow a very strict script and we do not tolerate any deviation from it. Cancer is high risk and we strive to educate and provide information to ensure that people are aware of the risk, but without trying to push any products on them.
