Bad Service
I got a call from Mr Mboweni from Platinum Life, he explained to me about the disability cover from their company, he managed to convince me to take up this policy, gave him my account number. And then later a changed my mind, and then he sent me bank debit order mandate and I declined it, he call me countless time with so many different numbers, which I declined and blocked. The following day he called and answered and told him I have changed my mind because I am unemployed. I told him it won't work. Now my problem is when I check on my banking app that mandated debit order is active. I tried to get in contact with them. They say they see nothing on their side. So if they can't help me who is supposed to

28 Aug 2023, 06:41Dear Thandiwe,
I have received your review and would like to assist regarding this matter.
Please acccept my apologies for the manner in which the consultant handled the sale. The policy is always optional and you can decline it at any time.
If it is a new sale, it wont be listed on our system yet but your cancellation request has been noted and sent through to our sales team to ensure that nothing is issued out in your name. I have also requested the sales call in question to follow up and escalate it to the sales centre in question.
The mandate will not be active, as no debit orders will be sent through to your account. You are welcome to reach out to your bank for further assistance.
Kind Regards
