Doctors who don’t care

Platinum Health medical aid and its doctors plus nurses need to renew and review their reason for being in business.

The doctors minimise and patronise patients and prescribe medications to get us off their backs. One doctor at their Brits Medical Center dismissed my complaints about my unusual period cramps and told me to take ibuprofen (atleast 2) when they are bad, which resulted in me being solely dependent on ibuprofen for over a year trying to combat the issues that I had with cramps every month…

Only to find that I have a fibroid, which was picked up by a doctor from outside that I had to go see cause that ibuprofen was no longer working.

Today I go to the Rustenburg center after driving close to an hours, dodging a strike to get there and I get insulted by one of the doctors who imp**** that I am not sick and I was just there for a sick note and minimised my description of my illness.

Nevermind the fact that no one in their right mind would drive an hour (anywhere) for a sick note, I was insulted to my face.

Platinum Health doctors have no passion for the job their doing and that’s why my aim in the next year is to exit this medical aid by any means necessary.
