His progress slows due his diluted workforce and inevitably he lands up in a position where the outstanding balance owed to him is far less than the cost of completing the contract. Then he demands the balance in full or wont continue, followed by abandoning the contract and leaves you high and dry. I now have to extract the Roofing Certificate (for which I have paid for in full) from him or, at the very least, get roofing contractors contact details as this needs to accompany all docs for submission to the council when my new contractor finishes the mess left by Kevin Dudgeon - Kevin's response - pay in full and I will supply documents. So even after abandoning a contract he will still try ****** money from you for something you are entitled to in the first place!! ie His attitude - Pay me 100% for 75% work or else!
