******, bullying and bad customer still exist

I’m disgusted by the terrible and ****** attitudes that the husband and wife of this establishment have.

I had purchased a Console glass bottle from this shop, 3 days later it chipped. I eventually get a chance to return the bottle a week later as I don’t reside in Pretoria permanently. The husband then informs me that he will respond a week later, which he never did. He only respond over a month and weeks later.

Eventually today I decide to go collect my bottle. I get to the cashier’s deck and I speak to the young black sales assistant. She then informs me that she can not assist I should wait for one of the owners, which was the wife. As she approached the cashier desk I then say to her: Excuse me ma’am I am here to collect my bottle...... before I could even finish my sentence she turns around and disregards me and said to me speak to her she will help you. The cashier was shocked and said I remember you but I can not help, let me finish up then I will go call her. Eventually she does come back..... she then calls her husband over the phone, he explained to her. I walk away to go look at an item in the store, then the wife followed me to go fetch a new bottle, then she asked what colour would I like, I then said blue. I walked back to the cashiers desk. She then came back with a bottle, I noticed it then I said to the wifey, ma’am mine was dark blue........ yet again before I could finish my sentence, she raised her voice at me. I told she must never speak to me in that manner as I am a customer who spent her money in there shop.

She then threw my slip at me and told me to get out her shop and come back when her husband is here. I told her I will not do such a thing because already I waited for feedback from her husband and now she is treating me in such a manner. I then told her let’s rather call the cops because I’m not leaving. If I don’t get the bottle I requested then she should rather refund my money back. Eventually she calls her husband in the mist of the shouting, he tells her to refund my money.

She then takes it out the till and throws it on the floor and tells me there is your money take it and leave. I told her I’m not a dog, I will her shop but she must pick up my money and handed it over to me appropriately. She refused and instead she runs outside to call the security guards in the parking lot. I still refused to leave and reprimanded the guard to not touch me unless she picks up my money. Eventually she did and then I left. Hardly 5 minutes after leaving the store. The husband calls me and tells me who do I think I am causing a scene in his store, he saw the footage and I was wrong.

I then said to him yet again in the mist of shouting from both ends, if he felt that I am wrong I would rather lay an official charge to the consumer board. Then he hung up on my ear. I am disgusted that people still behave in the this manner and think they can get away with it.

I deserve an official apology from them, which I know I will not receive. I now know better to ever set foot in that store.
