Refused Refund, despite Manufaturing Defaults

I have finally been dealt the worst possible service in the industry, ever. I purchased a metal/plastic folding table from Plastics Depo PE branch Greenacres on the 10th of December 2021, took it home, and only unboxed it a few days later to discover the poor quality of the table, with the metalwork protruding through the plastic, which is reason enough to want to return the product. I subsequently returned the product on the 19th December 2021 only to be turned away, by Anele (stating that I must return on Monday 20th December 2021 when the manager Elvina was available. I then returned on Monday with the customer slip in hand and explained to Elvina the manager that the original slip had blown away in the wind whilst taking the table out of the boot, but that I had the original customer slip, where all the necessary particulars could be found. She interjected and immediately shut me down, and said that she was unable to help me, even after my explanation, original packaging, and a merchant slip stating the time and date with the cashier name and terminal, card type with a number, retrieval number, etc, she said that she cant help me. I explained to her that all she had to do was to go onto the system, type in all the information and simply reprint a new slip and issue me a refund as, as I did not want another table from their shop, due to the poor quality they were selling. I told her that I refused to accept that she can't refund my money and asked her to get in touch with someone else who is able to resolve this issue. She then got onto the phone and spoke to someone from head office, taking her time in the process and causing me even more frustration. After about 40 minutes of being shunted around from pillar to post, then hands me a piece of paper with the name of another manager by the name of Anastacia *** who is in charge of HR and payroll, instructing me to email her with my complaint and they will follow up in a few days, as to what they will decide. I just decided at this point to take the ******* that I had purchased from this store home with me and vowed never to return. This plastic depo PE is the worst customer experience I have ever received, with the most pathetic unhelpful staff I have ever come across. They refuse to assist you the customer and do not care about the ramifications or the blowback that such service would result in. Whatever you do, find a shop where people value customers, treat them with respect, and are able to solve problems that occur. As if you have a problem with the merchandise of this store, chances are, you will not be able to return the goods and you would be forced to keep the poor quality ******* you had just purchased.
