Poor quality Micatex paint

I recently purchased the Micatex paint as I am repainting my home. The contractor said that the paint is too weak as compares to previous Micatex paint. I went to Builders from. where I purchased the paint and was told that we are stirring it incorrectly... they then stirred or shook up the paint, this made no difference at all.... the paint quality is very bad, yet they claim it it twice as thick. From 3 x 20lt, I am now at 6 x 20lt
