Plascon Paint turns yellow, poor quality

I recently did my new kitchen cupboards and opted to have the MDF boards spray painted as opposed to buying pre-made covered colours. I did research on the Plasco water based paint for wood spray and purchased the Plasco Primer coat, the Placo white stain as well as the plasco clear coat as plascon paints have made a name for themselves in the market as leaders in this industry. The kitchen came out looking very good, unfortunately after a year and half, the colour started turning yellow. I logged a call with Plascon and a technical lady came out and inspected the kitchen. Her feedback was that in very rare cases, the mdf boards used has resin that has a chemical reaction to the paint and turns the colour yellow. This is the reason they could not assist me with issue and their remedial action was for me to purchase another paint from them and pay for the labour and paint for that matter to fix the colour. The team that did the cupboards have not had this issue before and have now moved over to another paint manufacturer based on the poor product. The plascon logo should read, designed for 2 years and less and not designed for life.
