Do Not Use Plant Index

<div>I tried to rent an excavator from Plant Index, we were assisted by a man named Anthony who gave us a quote of R93 150.00 which was paid. The machine did not arrive to the site. After back and forth of him offering another machine that did not arrive, I requested a refund. Anthony then indicated that they would not be able to refund the whole amount and began paying it back in small amounts.

On 9 August 2024 they refunded R 7000.00. On 13 August 2024 the refunded R15 000.00. On 27 August 2024 he returned R 8000.00. The last payment I received to date was on 5 September 2024 - R 5000.00.

I have been trying to reach him on his WhatsApp number which he sometimes answers, but most of the time responds with “I will call you right back”

After feeling desponded I reached out to him again and he said that they would discuss a payment plan with his partner. He did not get back to me about the outcome of their discussion

I ended up drafting a payment plan which I sent to him on 5 March 2025. No payments have been received.</div>
