Deducted diesel after we filled up machinery

Deduct fuel deposit when tank was filled after work. Would not supply information from their operator showing gauge when the machine left despite multiple requests and after directly speaking to hire firm and told no diesel deposit was to be paid. I hired the machine back in October 2023.
