THINK TWICE BEFORE USING PLANET42!

Think twice before doing business with Planet42!!

My husband bought me a vehicle from Planet42 in Jan 2023 and since then we have had nothing but problems. I had my vehicle delivered and upon delivery it was found that the vehicle had suspension damage so we had to return the vehicle to them to be repaired. The salesperson did not inform us of the damages to this vehicle (suspension and body). When speaking to Planet42 about the dealer that sold them this vehicle it was just said that they will repair the vehicle. Now keeping in mind I had the vehicle for a week, not driving the vehicle because of the damages, when it was returned to the dealer to be repaired. They had my vehicle for 4 weeks, 2 weeks of which the dealer's mechanical department did not even know why my vehicle was standing there because the sales person did not inform them. Never the less we had to make 2 installment payments for a vehicle we had for a week. 2. The debit order did not go off on the arranged date but earlier, so when there is no money reflecting because they try to take it early you get the most awesome threatening emails and sms's you could possibly think of. 3. When you try to contact Planet42, via whatsapp or calls or emails you get no joy, no answer and no return emails.

4. And this has me absolutely livid!! When returning home from a weekend away I hit a small bird causing some minor damage to my vehicle. When I put in the insurance claim (that they force you to pay for by the way) I was informed that my excess is so freaken high that I can repair the damages myself cheaper. My question to them (with still no answer back) is who was supposed to inform us on the insurance information when the car was bought as non of this was discussed with us.

I have been in the motor industry for many many years and I know how insurance works. The higher your excess the less the monthly installment.

So why in the hell take out insurance (THAT WE MUST PAY FOR EVERY MONTH) that we can't use because of the ridiculously high excesses???

This is very sneaky, dishonest and frankly unjust! How many people do they catch like this?
