Sold a s**** car

Planet 42....Rent to own a car....their cars are s****, I bought a car 🚗 from one of their associates garage namely GIG MOTORS for R90k with a R10k deposit May 2019.

GIG Motors only gave me 30 days warranty, and guess what? after that warranty the engine packed up, I paid almost R48k last year 2020 gearbox failure.

Around July 2021 this year my Torque Converter cracked, I stopped paying Planet 42 after I tried getting to their offices to see if we can work something out, I was only told that they don't have offices.

The only way of communicating is only via WhatsApp or Email.

#in South Africa we as consumers we believe in meeting with service provider if there's a problem...but these Planet 42 guys they don't operate like other service providers in South Africa.

The last draw is when they terminated the contract and asked me to drop off the car and will be compensated the R1000 if I do it,

But if can't they'll send their people to pick up the car, eventually they came to pick up my car, a day after they send me an email and WhatsApp demanding that should pay R20k plus by the 4th of November 2021, or i'll be liable for payment of R82k plus.

My learned friends plz help with advice what steps to take here.
