Planet42 - money is more important than a clients life
So planet42 financed a car for me on a rent to own basis. I had the car for a weekend and i wanted to return the car as there was too many faults on the car.
They wanted me to keep the car as the dealership had to fix the car.
Some of the problems were fixed but more problems kept popping up until the car was taken off the road completely and me being inconvenienced and having to use public transport.
They now are insisting that i pay penalties of R17 000 for canceling the contract of a vehicle that was taken off the road by Dekra as it was a danger and unsafe to drive due to it having major accident damage.

As per the signed rental agreement you are liable for a cancellation penalty.
We asked if the vehicle can be taken to a RMI approved workshop and a warranty claim to be submitted. You refused to have this done and said we should collect the vehicle.
This is a cancellation by you as you did not follow the process of getting the vehicle repaired.
We sent an email stating the settlement can be paid off over a period of 4 months. Please respond to the email and advise if you accept these terms.
