Planet 42 won’t pay my money
Planet 42 won’t refund my money I had a very good relationship with planet 42 until at the end after my accident. I decide not to go back after my car was settled. Paid planet 42 their excess and remained with r308. Planet 42 then took the whole instalment as though am still paying for the car. I called explained to them I need the money then a lady named Azra told me I will have the money within 48 hours but nothing was done. I then called spoke to Phindile I was told to go to Menlyn where she knew very well it’s not their offices but an independent dealership that is operating under the planet 42 umbrella. I am really upset to see a group operating so unprofessionally towards its clients. All I need is my money back since my car was fully settled and again my worry is why they did not cancel and close the monthly rental payments on their systems. I feel like they are robbing people unconsciously so.
Time and time I asked for the ombudsmen but was refused with the number. As I sit here I do not have my money back.
Planet 42 is great until you don’t want the relationship

20 Sept 2024, 10:34It has been almost a week. Azraa said 48 hrs it’s been over 48hrs and why was I made to incur the cost of driving to Menlyn while it is not your office by Phindile? Is Planet 42 willing to reimburse me for the financial inconvenience they have cost me and continue to cost me?
Your reply is dismissive…. I have tried to escalate this with planet 42 and these are the kind of responses one receives.
Had it not been for this platform I doubt you as planet 42 will engage me at all.
So when can I get my money? I need it today !!!!

20 Sept 2024, 12:23I have called Planet 42 as I have received no call and it is now after midday. I was told that the refund is requested and loaded but not released, how is this matter not a priority? So all is needed is just someone within planet 42 to care about my situation.
I feel planet 42 is dealing with vulnerable individuals and pretend to assist but actually is an exploitation scheme…. Taking advantage of the very same they claim to protect.

And sadly I have to suffer the consequences of administrative negligence by planet42.

I hope people can see and know. There is no point engaging with you as an institution cause your decision is made. I have not received any call or communication from planet 42 except on this platform where you give an impression that you are doing something. We both know that it has been 10 days since you took my money . The debit check was cancelled on Tuesday when I complained but the refund you all have been silent.
No phone call… no email nothing.
