PAID UP account reflecting as active on credit bureaus

I last paid up my account in April closed the rental , now have been struggling to have my account reflecting as closed on all Credit bureaus every month its updated as paid and that makes me look like i have debt or rental i a paying , i contacted them numerous times , can i have this removed , i also have a paid up letter
