10 Mar 2023, 11:09Good day Mr Mxolisi,
Thank you for taking our call this morning.
As discussed telephonically we were made aware of this incident in August 2022. You followed the claim process and the claim fell within excess, meaning the repair cost was lower than the excess that was due. This meant you had to pay for the repairs.
You then stated that the vehicle failed to start in August 2022 as well. The assessor went out to check the vehicle. The assessor advised that the key transponder failed and this was not due to the accident. As per the signed rental agreement you are liable for these reppairs and you can claim through the warranty.
You disputed this and on the 16th of August 2022 we asked you get a diagnostic done and send us the report to determin the cause of failure, we awaitied this document.
In September 2022 we followed up with you on four occasions and the report was not provided to us.
We continued to follow up and we did not receive a response from you.
We have request for you to please forward us this report so we can see what the cause of failure was and also provide us with the proof of payment for the repairs you have paid for.
We await these documents in order for us to determin a way forward in this regard.
Regards
Your Planet42 team.
