Planet42 is a real nightmare, after 7 months they come back with a cancellation fee only God knows of what when they had their vehicle in October 2023.

Thank you for returning your rental vehicle to Planet42. We acknowledge the termination of the contract by the Renter. As per the Vehicle Rental Agreement ***, a termination by the Renter is subject to a fee of up to 7 months' rental payment.

This means that you are liable for a total of R64 274.00. However, because we are interested in settling this matter quickly we are prepared to offer you a settlement deal of only R36 728.00.

The settlement offer is valid for one week, please reply by 2024-05-22. We can accommodate a payment plan over multiple months, if applicable, to make sure the settlement offer is affordable to you.

If you choose not to accept the settlement offer the full outstanding amount of R64 274.00 will be collected from you by a third party debt collection company. Please see our bank details below to make a payment:
