This mail serves as a complaint reference with regards to the mentioned dealership. All necessary correspondence and rent to own contract has been attached for perusal.

Please find below chain of events in relation to the complaint:

· Car agreement for a rent to own second hand contract was signed on the 15th of May 2021

· Deposit of a total of R8500 was paid to assist in installing a Tracking device and complete Warranty and COR for the vehicle

· Car had numerous faults and all were conveyed to the dealership of which they would fix prior to delivery of the vehicle to me

· Car was COR passed, warranty passed, serviced and tracker fitted without the Odometer and speedometer working

· Dealership claimed after I complained to Planet42 that the car was mechanically sound and that I should afford them time to fix

· To date I have not received the car and was told to still afford the dealership time to sort

· After inspecting the car last week Tuesday the car had still not been fixed and have to yet again wait

· The car had wrong sizes tyres, the aircon did not work, was overheating, odometer not working along with the speedometer not working, when braking the car pulled to the left and the alignment was not correct

· Those were only some of the issues apart from the rear right side electric window which also didn’t work and was told to pay R1500 less and fix it myself

I inspected the car again on 25/06/2021 and it was still parked at the dealership with no sign of fixing being done. They had reported that the part was sourced and was being fitted. They then added that I sign another paper to move their debit order mandate to the following month of which I refused to do. · The manager Reuben has been helpful but has not received assistance from his offices to assist me.

In essence, I no longer wish to continue affording my time towards the dealerships issues of non-compliance and breach of contract with regards to incorrect procedures followed to register a vehicle and then supply clients with faulty and unsafe vehicles, and would like my deposit returned and the mandated debit order removed
