Before any1 goes into rental agreement please rethink of it, So I had a rental agreement and for a Ford figo price 109k, for a full year I paid 4995 which nearly came to just over 50k, then due drop in salary I missed and paid short with arrears of 6995, I then requested to cancel the contract because after a year of pay my balance was 107 still outstanding, I also had to change tyres 4000 and tyming belt 2000 and bonnet cable 500..i was adviced I am liable for arrears as well as 1 month cancelation when enquiring.. Once the car was taken back I got a bill of 36000 (which I refuse to pay) so if u paying that amount over 5 years it's just over 300k.. I have escalated the matter to the ombudsman, Devi, as well as consumer watch and consumer ombudsman.. I have also been advised I need to send a complaint 2 the national credit regulators In to confirm if they are registered with them..and because I refuse to pay 35000 I was told I will b handed over which I am now busy with an attorney as well as the law society . SO GUYS BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE ENTERING AN AGREEMENT
