DISAPONTMENT

i signed a contract for rent to buy in June 2023. I flew from East London to collect the car. on the drive back from cape town the car started making "strange noises. when we arrived i East London both the oil and water was empty. i witnessed the spill in my driveway. i immediately contacted planet and i received no feedback till October 2023. the car went in for repairs and a day after receiving it back from the workshop it needed a new starter motor. the car went in again received it back in November.. Then the water pipe needed replacing. it went in again received it back in December. in January the battery light came on and the car needed a new alternator. this was then replaced and immediately broke again. in the same week the alternator was replaced 3 times only to find that there was a wiring problem with the car causing the alternator to burn out. the car then went in for repairs again in February. i received the car back mid feb and then it was jerking badly. i cant remember exactly what the matter was this time. anyway i received the car back and exactly 3 weeks later the car overheated. no explanation. i then received an email advising that it was uneconomical to repair the car and that it would be collected from the mechanic and that i did not owe any money on the car and that i could apply for a replacement once the current contract had been declared null and void. 2 weeks after receiving the email planet deducted a premium. i have now been told that the deposit i paid when i got the car is not refundable. Them mechanic is still waiting for the car to be collected from his premises and i am left without a car and with no prospect of getting one because i didn't budget to be without a vehicle so soon. i know i should have read the signs but all the while i have literally just been trying to keep up with all the repairs
