Buy out price more than purchase price
I have signed a contract on the 24/06/2021 and the car o took out with planet42 was R93901.00 I have been paying R4972.00 since 25/07/2021 which means I have been paying a total of R79552.00 which includes insurance and tracker not sure how much I pay for those two. So I'm awaiting money and ask for a buy out settlement and this is what they say it is R93924.00. How I hells name can it still be more than the purchase price. I have send emails for some to call me Urgently and have send a whatsapp and I have also requested them to provide me with a contact number and nothing. I'm I renting this vehicle as a month to month because clearly this is not a rent to buy contract. Please guys I have just stopped my sister in law to not get into your agreement becoz clearly it's not working.

We have noted your response, kindly note that there is no running balance on the contract as this is a rental for a fixed contract term. Please note that you are in a RENT-TO-BUY agreement with Planet42. The rental premiums paid this far are for the rental of the vehicle. However, you have the option to buy out the vehicle at any point during the rental contract period. The Buy out amount is only reviewed every 12 months. Kindly refer to your signed rental agreement, under the Option To Purchase Section, for a clearer understanding of the Buy Out Terms.
The buy out amount is also affected by the number of payments made or missed. If you have any further queries kindly email us on ***
