***** business

Good day, I sent the requested documents by the company Planet 42 which are the proof of address, pictures of the vehicle interior and exterior and the up to date license disk of which were all attached via email to planet 42 a week ago in hopes that planet 42 can arrange for their vehicle to be fetched at the mentioned home address and I have not had any reply since then.

I have since reported this matter to the Ombudsman and Hellopeter because planet 42 seems to be dealing ***** and suspicious business ever since I signed the contract for a rent to buy of this vehicle last year 2023 in February, although this is a rent to buy vehicle contract the company has on numerous occasions acted as if this is not the case also not forgetting to mention the dealership WE DU Cars in Springs from where the vehicle was received and the rent to buy contract signed.

Within the first month of receiving the vehicle, I have had to personally pay with no assistance from planet 42 or the dealership for repairs of this vehicle when it had numerous mechanical issues within the first month of renting the vehicle from the dealership WEDU cars and planet 42. The costs of which ended up costing me R100 000 in total with no assistance from the dealership or planet 42. Planet 42 and the dealership WEDU cars refused to fetch the vehicle or to fix it and my attempts of communicating the matter or to atleast exchange the vehicle for another roadworthy vehicle failed after months of reporting this matter I was left with no choice but to fix the vehicle myself yet they were still deducting and demanding their monthly installments from my bank account monthly installments of which amount to R7600 each month.

I have now requested for the vehicle to be returned and fetched by planet 42 since March this year 2024 due to the fact that I am now unemployed since January this year and can no longer afford to pay or to keep this vehicle.

Planet 42 has no existing offices for me to return this vehicle which is also a huge red flag, I have also numerous times after reporting that I can no longer pay for this vehicle requested for the vehicle to be fetched by the company but the company has not been in contact with me with regards to fetching the vehicle from me even though I have provided them with the home address for the vehicle to be fetched as it is parked there waiting for pick up.

I don't want to be liable to pay for the months after I had reported for the vehicle to be fetched or have my name on the credit bureau due to bad credit caused because of planet 42's ***** business dealings. I am now writing this email to also expose planet 42 and the dealership WEDU cars under planet 42, In hopes of also receiving any assistance with regards to the matter bought forward.
