Bad Service, Poor Customer Care

Planet42 I want to report this Car Rentals to everyone who is still interested in renting a car from them. I app**** for the car on their website, approved then went to Menlyn to fetch the car, then the car I chose was allocated to someone else while I was sitting signing the contract, I complained to the sales agent and he couldn’t do anything because the he didn’t want to approach this white sales person and the car was still there. I was told to choose another car and I didn’t have any options as it was already late and I paid for the deposit which they couldn’t give me Back. I took a car that I didn’t like because I couldn’t just loose R30k , after driving that car I picked up so many faults including mechanicals, overheating etc. had a breakdown they took the car for 4 months to the workshop and didn’t bother to give me another car, I got the car back, drove it for a month it overheated again and I got stucked for the 5th time now. The car was towed away again to their workshop and I know it’s going to take another 3 months. When i call I am not allowed to speak to relevant people their Bianca and Patrick, they will apparently pass your message to them and they will never call you back. They send me an email to tell me that they will not be able to give me another, I must apply for a new contract and pay another R30k. This is very much unfair to me to stuck with car with a non stop overheating, the experience is so traumatising for a woman to sleep at the side of the road, because their road side assist also depends on the distance where you stuck, This is very bad Company people please check your car, don’t take anything that looks nice outside because you will stuck with the car. I am very much frustrated and ****ed off. 😡
