**** gel

I bought "gel nail polish"from planet nails on the 14 August 2019, with a couple of other products to the amount of R260.50. I used the nail polish the same night of the 14th and the following day it was coming off. I went back to the shop on the 15 August 2019 and one of the ladies was kind enough to tell me the reason it came off was because I was missed two steps, so I bought "bond it and a base coat"for an additional R114.00 , I re-app**** the gel polish on the night of the 15th August 2019 and guess what, the "gel"chipped and lifted on Friday 16 August 2019 . I went back to the store hoping I'd get my money back because what's the point of buying gel that doesn't last; the store manager or whoever she is gave me all sorts of reasons as to why the nail polish is coming off; "maybe your nails are too oily, maybe you app**** it too thick, maybe you dried it too much, maybe you didn't dry it enough, what UV lamp do you use maybe its old", never-mind I had gel on my toes that I had done at Sorbet in of June 2019 and miraculously that never came off!! She then said the owner would not give me a refund because planet nails products are bought 50 times a day and neither one of those clients ever bring back the gel polish and that she'd contact head office so that they can test the polish and determine if the problem is really with the products. I left the base coat, colour polish and top coat to the value of R270 with my receipt at the store, including my number and I have yet to hear from them, this was a week ago.
