Zero Customer Care and Poor administration.... STAY AWAY FROM PLANET FITNESS

I signed on with Planet Fitness a few months before lock down for a 12 Month contract. I ran a debit order on my credit card, during lockdown all payments were suspended. Unbeknown to me my debit order was somehow mysteriously cancelled after 6 months (They say it's the bank that does that as they need to verify details) Zero communication re this until a debt collector calls telling me I am in R2400 arrears. Great I pay R3300 immediately and request my cancellation amount which should be according to their sums in the R500 range. I email again asking for the settlement amount now to be told I am in R528 arrears still. This all in the space of a week I go from R2400 arrears pay R3300 and am now apparently still R528 in arrears. They refuse to give me a settlement amount. Also there is no apology for the admin error or any attempt on their side to retain me as a client. One would think in times like this you would get better service from a Gym especially when one doesnt really need them.
