I had taken a two year contact with planet fitness in 2015 to September 2017. However planet fitness will automatically change your contract to a month to month contract if you don't stop your contract yourself at the end of two years. Why then did they offer me a two year contract? if they don't adhere to the duration of it. This is a very intentional clause if one is stipulated , to exploit the consumer and take their money . The strange thing is that the consultants have a habit of ignoring some very crucial information , like annual levies and your contract being switched over to a month to month automatically without your consent. this situation has caused be a great inconvenience and I truly feel that I have been a victim of this so called contracts that planet fitness conspires. they are now demanding I pay for this month even though I haven't been to the gym from September. Am I liable to pay them this month even though my contract expired in September ? am I entitled to a refund from October? is what they doing legal?
