WORST GYM TO GET A MEMBERSHIP AT

This is the worst institution that I have ever dealt with. They lie and this is just a ****. We were members at Virgin Active and wanted to move to Planet Fitness. We are also Vitality members and Planet Fitness gave us a few months to transfer the Vitality to them. They let us sign a contract and said to us that we only have to pay R99 for the time that we have to transfer the Vitality and if we can't manage to do that then we don't have to proceed with the contract. We couldn't manage to transfer and we informed them immediately and they then told us that we now have to pay a full cancellation fee which was never part of the agreement. They also debited more than R1000 per month in that period of time that they said we would only pay R99. We only used their services 2 or 3 times and never went back after all this. I have sent numerous emails and made numerous phone calls and they never assisted or responded. Eventually they handed my account over stating that we owe almost R13000 which is absurd. When I asked them to send me the proof of the cancellation and statements of where they get the amounts from as well as the contract itself I was told that they don't provide that and never answered me or sent it to me.

Please be cautious and never ever get a membership here. This institution is pathetic.
