Watch out for Planet Fitness!!!

I had a gym contract with planet fitness and I canceled it last month via telecommunications. The person who assisted me assured me that I will not be debited as I canceled my month to month contract prior to the 15th of the month. I was so happy with the service she provided and I was excited to not pay anything. However today I see that planet fitness debited me the full amount. I am extremely disappointed in Planet Fitness. I paid for a gym contract that I never use due to covid and when I finally was allowed to cancel, they debit me. I would never recommend anyone to this gym!
