Wasted time, and LOTS of wasted money

<div>I signed up with Planet Fitness November, with the intention of cancelling it in the new year. The agent I spoke to, Nick, assured me that I can give 4 months notice after 2 months, and that worked out perfectly for me. And that I will still be able to access the gym in that 4 months notice. I signed up for the R749 contract, and with my medical aid the first and third months were R299, and second month were free (Promotion). Surprise, the first month they took R811.39, Never ONCE did Nick ever tell me about the Maintenance Levy?? As if the membership is not expensive enough!</div><div>My three kids and issues with the tags three times! We had to add them three times!!! Always an issue!</div><div>So taking the wrong amount, having to fight to sort it out, having to add the kids over and over!</div><div>NOW, I give notice 31 January, they charge me for February, but stop my membership immediately, then additionally they charge me four months notice, actually 5 months!!! Cause February my membership was stopped!! This does not work for me!!!</div><div>Not once, I was informed of the levies, and 5 months notice, without having access to the gym??? Although Nick assured me I will still have access???? NNNNOOOOOOO!!!! Everyone, PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!! Unless you don't mind all the issues, the fights, the wasted time having to add kids the whole time, with all their details, and the losing so much money??? And all this because the consultants don't know, or just plain lie?</div><div>Then I am told I know what the contract said?</div><div>No, NO, I didn’t, cause the consultant TELLS you what you are signing, then hands over their phone to sign?</div>
