Very frustrated

We took out a contract for a year and Planet Fitness keeps on sending messages saying our account has been handed over. We haven't renewed this contract so how do we owe you any money. Please stop being desperate for money and harassing people. This is very annoying and frustrating. If you sign a contract for a year and not renew that contract how is it possible to be owing you money?????
