Untruthful Advertising - CastleGate Branch - Dewald (Uncertain could be Andre or Andrew)

Ok so I am tired of Planet fitness too.

November convinced into the Castle Gate planet fitness gym by what at the time looked like a confident Sales Rep.

I do struggle to remember the persons name entirely but I am 100% sure it can be traced that I signed it in mid November or September 2022 by someone doing a sales pitch in front of the castle gate PNP.

What I told the man: - I want to go to gym but cannot afford it now - I will likely be able to sign up After that month to first sort out my financial issues

He did convince me same day to sign up on conditions: - He **** saying he would give me my first month free Sub issue when I was billed for the first month I asked the sales agent over whatsapp and he ignored me wanting my user number for vitality.

Guessing he gets more comms from that but he was only ever interested in getting that from me but ignored engaging in any talks about the Verbal agreement

- 2nd condition was that I wanted a quick to cancel contract due to financial sensitivity at the time.

He **** and promised a Contract at R699 one month free for the first month because as he said "I am trusted and can arrange it" basically the I have contacts thing, and cancellation term of 2 months.

Come the day finances hit rough waters and I wanted to cancel no he signed me up for a 2 year contract with a 4 month cancellation term which runs over Christmas and I get charged a Re-administration fee of some sort which was not explained to me. With that month totaling in 1.4K deduction in Christmas.

I had placed a cancellation close to the period of my activation and had it followed through I would of not paid that Re-admin fee or it would of been my last payment which I would have been fine with and would of left it with that.

In fact I messaged VIA SENDING A FEW EMAILS AND CALLING IN DECEMBER TO CONFIRM THAT THEY WERE RECEIVED.

I was promised for 3 days nearly 2 calls a day that I would be contacted by a manager to promise me that my contact will now be cancelled because of sales rep lying to me and causing me to be billed a whole lot more than what I should have had he not been a cheat.

Long story short I have sent my demands stating that Planet fitness cancel my account, STOP THE DEBIT ORDERS and not to contact.

I advise anyone considering their branches to not listen to sales they are *****s and cheap ******, staff will brush you off and honestly if I could I would ram a car through their front window right now, and I am confident I am not the only people that feel like that.

I will be trying to take this civil and take it to my lawyer, but lord be with any planet fitness agent to call me and try tell me I owe them money or I am in the wrong here because I will make their life rough on that phone or face to face they can decide.

Give me my money back for the 2 months I was NOT MEANT TO BE BILLED FOR! and I will leave everyone alone.
