Unresolvable complaint

I joined the gym in August, under some promotion. The Ferndale branch had not been opened at the time. I was offered Sandton and Fourways as my 2 gyms at the time. i have never used the Fourways one as it very far from my residence( only took it as it was the only "closer" option then. With the opening of the ferndale branch which is a stone throw from my residence, i then asked to be moved , my second gym from fourways to Ferndale. i was told this is impossible unless i pay extra? I then cancelled my mebership but retentions department convinced me they will sort it out . They didnt solve anything, still stuck . With the fuel increases and general increase in cost of living, im finding this very dictatorial and bureaucratic red tape unnecessary and inconsiderate.
