Unrealistic expectation of monthly installment

Planet fitness Cavendish: I joined in December 2024, and unfortunately, my sign-up experience was less than satisfactory.

I was provided with two different quotes: one by the salesperson and another by the sales manager, Anthony.

The salesperson quoted me the regular price of R1,199.00. The sales manager offered me a 40% discount due to being an Edgars member, a partnership benefit, with an upfront fee of R450. This would have brought my monthly installment to approximately R700. However, the sales manager failed to verify the actual discount I was eligible for and instead assumed a 40% discount. When the first installment was processed, it reflected only a 20% discount.

This created a false expectation regarding my monthly installment, even after I specifically requested exact figures.
